We offer one to one sessions to women of all ages and abilities, tailored to meet your individual needs. We work at your pace and with a range of pelvic health / menopause conditions to release, stabilise and strengthen your body

Whether you are an experienced movement practitioner or new to yoga, pilates or physical training, we will explore the subtleties of movement and postures to build awareness, confidence and a firm foundation for your future practice.

One to one sessions are particularly beneficial in providing a safe space to enable you to speak in confidence about your symptoms and experiences and to receive a personalised treatment programme specifically for you. Not a one size fits all approach!

Pelvic Health Conditions

We work with women experiencing symptoms ranging from bladder incontinence, frequency or urgency, constipation, pelvic organ prolapse, IBS, dysregulated breathing to a wide range of pelvic pain symptoms. You may not realise you have pelvic issues and may feel uncomfortable in different part of your body

The body does not operate in discrete units, it is connected through networks of cells, tissues, muscles and so much more. A pain in your knee may not be because you have a knee injury, it may be because your pelvic floor isn’t functioning optimally.

A pain may not be because you have a knee injury, it may be because your pelvic floor isn’t functioning optimally. Calm Frog Yoga works with you through careful observation, listening and alignment to recommend a course of action, treatment or signpost you to a health care professional who may be better suited to your needs. The most important thing we offer is knowledge and awareness of the body and the wonder that it has to heal through yoga.

Stages Of The Menopause

How do you know if you are in the Late Reproductive Stage, Perimenopause or Postmenopause?

How do you listen to your body and emotions and decide what is right for you?

The transition to Menopause is a phase in a woman’s life that may begin in her mid-30s and continue through to her late 50s. Menopause transition impacts practically every aspect of her being, from physical and mental through to emotional. Each of these aspects are inextricably linked and influenced by the physical symptoms associated with the fluctuations, and gradual decline in key hormones, such as Oestrogen and Progesterone.

There are around 40 documented symptoms associated with the menopause and navigating a path through the years of experiencing a range of these symptoms can be a lonely, confusing and frustrating time.

At Calm Frog Yoga we work with you to build a tailor-made plan to include movement based on the intelligence of yoga poses, breathing, mindfulness and meditation techniques.
